Description
PVC fittings are commonly used for water, but are also suited for many inorganic chemicals, acids, alkalis and salt solutions. They’re not suited for aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons. In case of threaded connections, apply a sealant suitable for PVC, such as Loctite 5331, to the male threads. These fittings are made according to EN 1452-3.
Note: PTFE tape or sealants are not recommended for plastic-to-plastic connections.
Note: Do not use plastic pipes and fittings with compressed air or gas.
